Bilen Fraye is Co-Founder and Partner at Diplomatica. Previously, she served as Director of Programs at Sister Cities of Los Angeles, where she coordinated activities focused on trade, culture, tourism and education with international and local partners. Ms. Fraye has carried out several reconnaissance missions and organized delegations to Berlin, Mexico City, Santiago, Chengdu, and Addis Abeba.
Bilen has led a successful career in managing social impact projects and programs, with significant contributions to leading international humanitarian assistance, public health, education, and mine action efforts. She has served in various project management and capacity building roles with international non-governmental organizations funded by USAID, CDC and the UN in Southern Africa – namely in Botswana, Swaziland, and Mozambique.
She holds an MPA in International Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a B.A in International Relations and French from the University of California, Davis. Bilen is fluent in Amharic and French.
